At Marc David Homes, we are thrilled to announce that our custom-built modern farmhouse in Denver has been honored as the #1 Home Story of 2017 by Colorado Homes & Lifestyles. This recognition underscores our commitment to creating exceptional, personalized homes that resonate with both our clients and the broader community.
In collaboration with esteemed architect Dale Hubbard of Surround Architecture, we crafted a 6,500-square-foot modern farmhouse situated on a charming corner lot in Denver’s Crestmoor neighborhood. This two-story residence seamlessly blends contemporary design elements with the timeless warmth of farmhouse aesthetics, resulting in a space that is both inviting and sophisticated.
The home’s design emphasizes spaciousness and functionality, catering to the dynamic lifestyle of a growing family. Key features include:
•Open-concept living areas that foster connectivity and flow.
•Expansive windows that flood the interior with natural light, creating a bright and airy ambiance.
•High-end finishes and materials that exemplify quality and durability.
Our collaboration with Dale Hubbard was instrumental in bringing this vision to life. His architectural expertise, combined with our dedication to superior craftsmanship, resulted in a home that stands as a testament to innovative design and meticulous attention to detail.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Colorado Homes & Lifestyles for this prestigious recognition. Being featured as the #1 Home Story of 2017 is an honor that inspires us to continue pushing the boundaries of custom home building in Denver and beyond.
At Marc David Homes, we believe that a home should be both a reflection of its owners and a sanctuary for modern living. We are honored to have one of our recent custom home remodels featured on the cover of Colorado Homes & Lifestyles’ January-February 2023 issue, as well as showcased in an in-depth spread spanning pages 86-91.
This feature highlights our Castle Creek remodel, a project that brought together thoughtful design, functionality, and timeless craftsmanship to meet the unique needs of a vibrant family of seven. With five children, including a set of young twins, the homeowners envisioned a home that embraced both organization and warmth, blending classic architecture with modern, family-friendly details.
From the grand entry hall with custom floor-to-ceiling millwork to the elegantly curated living spaces, every detail was carefully considered. The great room, anchored by a stunning Lexington Home Brands coffee table and a richly textured Surya rug, connects seamlessly to the gourmet kitchen, where The Kitchen Showcase cabinets and sleek White Picasso quartzite countertops provide the perfect balance of luxury and practicality.
One of the standout spaces is the custom-built library, featuring high-gloss bookcases, a ladder system, and refined brass accents, offering a cozy yet sophisticated retreat for the homeowners. Meanwhile, the powder room showcases elegant blue Cloe tiles by Bedrosians, adding depth and a touch of artistry to the space.
Through expert craftsmanship and design vision, we transformed this home into a personalized haven that truly reflects the family’s lifestyle and aspirations. We extend our sincere thanks to Colorado Homes & Lifestyles for recognizing the artistry behind this remodel and for shining a spotlight on Marc David Homes’ commitment to exceptional home transformations in Castle Pines, Boulder, and Denver.
At Marc David Homes, we are honored to have our Colorado Custom Home featured on the cover of Modern in Denver’s Winter Issue. This extraordinary home is more than just a residence—it’s a testament to resilience, innovation, and sustainability.
After the devastating Fourmile Canyon Fire, the Fry family faced the unimaginable loss of their home. Instead of rebuilding conventionally, they chose to look forward—way up—embracing a bold vision for the future. Perched at 7,300 feet on a rugged mountain slope, Higher Ground stands as a fireproof, net-zero home, designed to withstand nature’s extremes while seamlessly integrating with its surroundings.
Crafted with cutting-edge materials and forward-thinking design, this home not only prioritizes safety but also champions sustainability. Every detail—from the fortified structure to the energy-efficient systems—ensures that Higher Ground is not just built to last, but built to thrive. This project has drawn national attention, even earning recognition from The New York Times, for its groundbreaking approach to eco-friendly, fire-resistant architecture.
We’re grateful to Modern in Denver for showcasing this one-of-a-kind project and sharing the story behind it. Higher Ground is a symbol of what’s possible when determination, thoughtful design, and a commitment to sustainability come together.
